The Lost Piano

Tensed shoulders with wrinkled eyes, losing hearing
Aching for the fingers on the piano that used to play
effortlessly, carelessly, beautifully.

Beautifully playing piano, mindlessly caressing the white and black
The strings plucking and moving, restlessly.
Melodically strumming piano playing I miss,
With my tense shoulders my fingers do not stretch
I am less nimble, I do not hear
The beautiful piano.
